"Sandblasting" refers to the process of spraying abrasive sand onto the surface of clear glass to create an opaque frosted glass. 【Features of Sandblasting】 - A process that creates frosted glass by spraying abrasive sand onto the surface of the glass. - It obscures visibility while softly and evenly diffusing light. - It is also possible to perform a "design blast" process that partially sandblasts the glass. "Silica Tape" refers to the process of spraying a protective coating onto glass that has undergone sandblasting to prevent dirt accumulation. 【Features of Silica Tape】 - Glass that has been coated with a transparent coating agent after sandblasting. - The powdery texture of the sandblasted surface is eliminated, resulting in a slightly glossy, translucent glass. - It softly diffuses light and moderately obscures visibility. - Similar to sandblasting, a "design silica tape" process can be applied to partially coat the glass. - Due to the coating treatment, it also excels in dirt resistance.
